Amanda Harvey (Associate).  Ms. Harvey joined the firm as a law clerk, while she attended and earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law. Ms. Harvey received her B.A. in Communication Studies, with a minor in Spanish, from Florida State University in 2000While attending Pepperdine University School of Law, Ms. Harvey served as an Assistant Editor for the Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judges, and she won first place with her trial team at the 2004 San Diego Defense Lawyer’s Mock Trial Competition.  Ms. Harvey has served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Joe W. Hilberman of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Ms. Harvey is admitted to practice law before the California State Bar and the United States District Court, and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.


Aja Taormina (Associate). Ms. Taormina joined the firm in 2017 and brings with her several years of family law experience.  Ms. Taormina earned her law degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.  While in law school, Ms. Taormina clerked at the Federal Trade Commission and the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.  She was an editor on the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice, a publication dedicated to examining the intersection of social justice, policy, and the law.  Prior to law school, Ms. Taormina graduated cum laude from the University of California at Irvine.  Ms. Taormina is admitted to practice law in California and is a member of the Los Angeles County and South Bay Bar Associations.   


Devon Caracciolo (Associate). Ms. Caracciolo graduated from the Pepperdine University School of Law with her JD and a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, in 2014.  Ms. Caracciolo earned her B.A. in English from the University of Southern California.  Ms. Caracciolo practiced entertainment transactional law for two years prior to changing gears to the practice of family law.  Ms. Caracciolo donates her time as a volunteer attorney at the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law.  She is admitted to practice law in California and before the United States District Court.  


Jacalyn Davis (Of Counsel). Ms. Davis previously worked an associate attorney in the firm more than a decade ago.  She has since been in private practice, focusing on primarily family law matters.  Ms. Davis attended law school at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, and earned her B.A. from Barnard College in New York.  Ms. Davis is admitted to practice law before the California State Bar.


Larry M. Bakman (Of Counsel). Larry M. Bakman has been practicing law for over 30 years, and has earned a reputation as both a skilled trial attorney and a seasoned litigator. Mr. Bakman graduated cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles with a B.A. degree, and he received his J.D. from the Southwestern University School of Law. Successfully representing clients in criminal, family law, civil and dependency matters, Mr. Bakman represented clients on state and federal matters in California, Washington, New York, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, Michigan.  As a member of the State Bar of California and New York.  Mr. Bakman was a judge on the TV series Hot Bench.
