Amanda Harvey (Associate).  Ms. Harvey joined the firm as a law clerk, while she attended and earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2006. Ms. Harvey received her B.A. in Communication Studies, with a minor in Spanish, from Florida State University in 2000While attending Pepperdine University School of Law, Ms. Harvey served as an Assistant Editor for the Journal of the National Association of Administrative Law Judges, and she won first place with her trial team at the 2004 San Diego Defense Lawyer’s Mock Trial Competition.  Ms. Harvey has served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Joe W. Hilberman of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Ms. Harvey is admitted to practice law before the California State Bar and the United States District Court, and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.


Aaron Miller (Associate). Mr. Miller earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2010.  He previously received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and his B.A. in English Literature from Carleton College.   Before joining the firm, Mr. Miller worked as an insurance defense litigation attorney, concentrating primarily on wrongful deal and major premises liability matters.  Additionally, while attending law school, Mr. Miller worked full-time as a law clerk for a boutique firm representing businesses based in Korea involved in U.S. litigation.  Mr. Miller's career prior to attending law school was likewise diverse.  It includes running a company that sold a proprietary spice blend for grilling, working as a marketing manager for Brita Water Products and the Clorox Company, advising electoral and lobbying campaigns as a political consultant, and working at the Pentagon's in-house video department.  Mr. Miller is admitted to practice law in California and before the U.S. District Court. 


Jeffrey Tang (Associate). Mr. Tang joined the firm as a law student while attending law school at University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.  Mr. Tang graduated and earned his law degree in 2015, and stayed on as an associate.  Mr. Tang earned his B.A. in Economics (magna cum laude) from University of California, Irvine.  During law school, Mr. Tang served as Chief Managing Editor of the Asian Pacific American Law Journal (Vol. 20).  In 2013 and 2014, Mr. Tang served as a law clerk with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, where he conducted preliminary hearings.  Mr. Tang is admitted to practice law before the California State Bar.


Jacalyn Davis (Of Counsel). Ms. Davis previously worked an associate attorney in the firm over 11 years ago.  She has since been in private practice, focusing on primarily family law matters.  Ms. Davis attended law school at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, and earned her B.A. from Barnard College, in New York.  Ms. Davis is admitted to practice law before the California State Bar.


Larry M. Bakman (Of Counsel). Larry M. Bakman has been practicing law for over 30 years, and has earned a reputation as both a skilled trial attorney and a seasoned litigator. Mr. Bakman graduated cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles with a B.A. degree, and he received his J.D. from the Southwestern University School of Law. Successfully representing clients in criminal, family law, civil and dependency matters, Mr. Bakman represented clients on state and federal matters in California, Washington, New York, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, Michigan.  As a member of the State Bar of California and New York.  Mr. Bakman was a judge on the TV series Hot Bench.
