Mr. Berner has been a part of the firm since April 2019, during his second year of law school at the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Berner served as a research assistant to Professor Eileen Scallen, conducting research in the field of evidentiary privileges. Prior to law school, Mr. Berner earned his Bachelors of Arts in English and History at Loyola University Chicago, where he served as a research assistant to Professor Kyle Roberts, conducting research into centuries-old legal texts as part of Loyola’s Jesuit Libraries Provenance Project. Mr. Berner is licensed to practice in the State of California and a member of the California Bar Association.
